Andrea’s Delicate Cherry Blossom tallit

Andrea chose a beautiful pink dupioni silk to be the background for branches of cherry blossoms to wrap herself in. Her atarah and corners were of white dupioni silk with pink embroidery thread. We considered applique for the flowers or stems, but decided that everything including the branches would be more delicate if embroidered. She chose her thread colors, and voilá!
