Jesse’s hand painted silk tallit

Jesse painted the beautiful silk fabric for his tallit with his artist grandmother, who then asked me to turn it into a tallit. The turquoise and purple fabric is stunning, so it was easy to embroider the corners and L’dor va Dor atarah on complimentary dupioni silk. We put a blue dupioni on a purple dupioni for the corners, and Jesse chose a beautiful chamsa, pomegranate, dove and a menorah to be embroidered on them.
