Sabina’s Golden Vine Tallit

Three generations (Sabina, her mom, and her grandparents) came to design Sabina’s L’dor va dor tallit. She chose a beautiful off white silk for the body, and a rose dupioni silk with wine dupioni silk borders for the stripes, atarah and corners. A soft gold metallic thread was used to embroider vines on the middle stripe and on the ends of the atarah. Sabina’s corners had her name, a love note from her Baba and Dede – in their signatures, a tree of life and a matryoshka (Russian stacking) doll. The atarah had L’dor va dor in Hebrew and English.
