Ian’s full sized many-striped tallit

Ian designed a full sized tallit with beautiful greens and blues on an off white silk matka. The stripes are on the front and under sides of the tallit, so that when he wears it flipped over his shoulders, the stripes will show from the underside. 

He wanted the corners to be very subtle, so chose a thread color very similar to the sea green fabric to embroider a beautiful succulent, a drawing that his young son made, a ranunculus and a leaf that was the same as one of the leaves on his father’s tallit. 

The atarah was a navy with white embroidery for the text.
