Michele’s restoration

Michele had her grandfather’s tallit that was very worn and shredded. As she was part of an adult B’nai Mitzvah group, she wanted to wear his tallit, but it was too delicate. We spray glued it onto a piece of white silk, cut the silk to fit the tallit so that it became a backing. I serged some sides, and Michele hand sewed some sides. It’s not as soft and flowy as it once was, but beautiful!
