Mitch’s Tallit

#imagebox#

Mitch is the father of Allie, of the gorgeous lion tallit. He wanted a new tallit for his daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, and designed this traditional style with gorgeous rich colors for himself. Mitch is very tall and wanted a wide tallit. He chose this brilliant navy blue dupioni for the body of the tallit, and we accented it with silver and gold. The middle stripe is a beautiful cotton print set in the middle of a gold stripe, bordered by 2 narrow black stripes, and then 2 wider silver stripes. His corners are very meaningful to him, as they have the names of his wife and his children, along with his own. The atarah is the Etz Chaim verse/song with beautifully embroidered trees of life on the ends that say L’dor va dor (from generation to generation) under the trees. This is a very elegant tallit.
