Cynthia’s Peacock Tallit
Cynthia loves peacocks. But not only that, she is an amazing opera singer who sings in the temple choir, and is a self-described Diva. When she saw this gorgeous burnt silk velvet fabric, she knew it was for her. She wanted the fabric for the atarah and corners to tone it down a bit, so went with a deep burgundy dupioni silk and metallic gold thread.
Her atarah simply says Shechinah, and the ends are adorned with chamsas and “tikkiun olam”.
The corners say, in Hebrew, “sing”, “love”, “laugh” and “peace”.
