Ben’s traditional tallit

Ben loved Myles’s tallit, but wanted black instead of red, and wanted his stripes closer together. He used the same off-white soft silk/wool blend for the body, with dupioni silk for the stripes and a couched silver cord on all of the blue stripes. 

Ben also chose to have “double” corners – blue on black, with metallic silver thread, and the beautiful head of a lion on the corner with his Hebrew name – Ari.

His atarah has a beautiful quote from Albert Einstein:

“Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.”
