Howard’s family tree of life tallit

For his 80th birthday, Howard received a beautiful tallit designed by his wife and his children. The back has a tree of life with his and his wife’s names on the tree trunk, each of his 3 children’s names on the large branches, and his grandchildren’s names on the smaller branches – all in Hebrew, embroidered in silver metallic thread.  They chose a colorful cotton fabric for the trunk of the tree, and we used 4 colors of silk dupioni for the leaves.
