Ezekiel’s murder of crows tallit

For several reasons, Izzy wanted to have crows flying across his tallit. 

He knew that he wanted his tallit to be an off-white, with black crows, but we weren’t sure how we were going to create his vision. We looked at crow embroidery designs and fabrics. Then – on a website, we came across a crow fabric that Izzy loved. Not only was it flying the way he had envisioned, but it also had a celtic symbol on the back that honors another part of his heritage. We appliqued the crows on, exactly where Izzy wanted them.

His corners were also very symbolic. We used a silver metallic thread to embroider the signs for Taurus, Virgo, Pluto, and a grape leaf. You’ll need to ask Izzy why!
