Heather’s Horse Tallit

Heather loves horses, but wanted a relatively simple tallit.

I found some Laurel Burch “Embracing Horses” fabric, with a matching abstract “manes and tails” to go with it. When I showed it to Heather, she chose a beautiful vibrant blue silk dupioni to put it on, and another light aqua dupioni to add as an additional stripe. Because the two horse print fabrics had a metallic gold running through them, Heather chose to embroider the corners with a metallic gold thread, on the aqua silk. The atarah was more of the horse fabric. 

This tallit was simple, but very unique and elegant – perfect for a horse lover.
