Arielle’s musical notes tallit

Arielle loves music and wanted to express that on her tallit. She chose an unusal dupioni that is a royal blue and a yellow woven together which combine to make it beautifully irridescent. Because it was mostly blue and naturally fringed yellow, she chose yellow for some of the stripes and the atarah, and a powder blue for other stripes and the corners.

We embroidered musical notes on the wide middle stripe in a metallic gold thread. Two of the corners had embroidered images of her guitar and her beloved tortoise.
