Irwin’s dashing full size ivory with gold tallit

Irwin wanted a full sized elegant tallit with the ten commandments on the back and stripes on both sides. He chose an ivory silk tweed with gold running through it for the body from www.nydesignerfabrics.com

The stripes formed a “V”, and were created from layers of gold silk www.silkbaron.com, a sheer white and gold ribbon, topped with a fine gold and black trim from Mokuba that I special ordered from Japan. The same trim was used around the corners and atarah.

Irwin’s Hebrew name was embroidered on the atarah, with an ornate 10 commandments embroidered on the ends. All 4 corners had an elaborate embroidered torah.
