Gary’s wife wanted to buy Gary a tallit for his birthday, so they came over to look through my stash of fabric and photos. He liked Selena’s , but wanted it made a little more masculine. So, we substituted the pinkish purple with navy for the corners and atarah, and made two stripes instead of three, with some other changes. Gary wanted to express the value of “From Generation to Generation”, so he has that blessing – L’dor v’dor on his atarah. The corners have the names in Hebrew of his grandparents, his parents, his wife and himself, and his children.
