Josh’s and Morgan’s reversible wedding tallit

Josh and Morgan wanted a large tallit for their wedding ceremony with which to wrap themselves in. They chose an off white silk dupioni for the body, a gorgeous Italian woven silk for the wide stripe, and then 2 other teal dupioni silks and a rust dupioni silk for the narrow stripes. Because they wanted it to be reversible, we figured out a process that would allow that without having identical stripes sewn onto each side. The atarah and corners were rust on teal, and embroidered with metallic gold thread. The atarah reads “Ani L’dodi v dodi li” – “I am my beloved and my beloved is mine”. It’s absolutely stunning.
